My experience with making accessories has finally just reached past 18 months! Hooray for that! Vanity Vault (Dubbed V V affectionately by myself and the regulars) started as a de-stressing project for me to keep me occupied with other things than work. Working with adorable polymer clay earrings and then to semi precious stones, crystals and such, Very soon after that, it just started taking over my life! (Not that I’m not happy about that ;))
The pleasure about being engaged in V V is that I can utilise every drop and essence of my life to morph them into ideas and inspirations for each unique piece. I credit inspirations for all the pieces in Vanity Vault to the people around me, the culture and diversity of places I am now and those that I’ve seen and visited, books, and lastly EVERYTHING from the concrete to the abstract.
I can’t quite assign a specific style to my designs, that would sound like I was putting limits to what I can do for Vanity Vault. However, if you are looking for something different, this is it. I’ve also brought in some assistant designers as of recent to diversify what’s made available
All in all, I am a eccentric city chick who is a self-proclaimed sugar junkie, shop-aholic, a passion for trying all things new, and definitely quite the self-obsessed person. My current first loves are great food and looking good, and my ideal evening would be sitting with friends over a Grande Iced Low Fat Caramel Macchiato with extra pump vanilla shaken to mix, with my beading board on my lap
So I do have abit of a nerve for writing, This is evident in Verves In Composition, my blog and a site on beauty that I have set up with a close girlfriend of mine, Practical Charm.
I continuously hope that Vanity Vault would take on to greater heights! I’m really looking forward, and I know every Vanity Vault reader is too!
I hope you enjoy my accessories as much as I love making them!
